Wingapo! I’m Sarah Quint (she/her), citizen of the Mattaponi Tribe of Tsenacommacah (VA). My heart is for the retelling and resurrection of our traditional stories. We must also craft new stories that will become ancient ones to future generations. This intention has led to crafting songs in our language, connecting to the land and family, authorship, and oral storytelling. As I live out this passion, everything must be done through relationship. If you are a storyteller or are interested in the tradition, please reach out to see where our stories connect.

Speaking Engagements

The oral tradition brings connection and captivates the spirits of every age and nation. I have shared in public and private schools, universities and conferences, nun houses and museums, at parks and festivals, at pow wow and in ceremony, around the fire and at bedtime with my children. Story is for everyone.
